Industry Safety Award Success
We are delighted to announce that Stuart Mann, HVAC technician with IES, scooped the prestigious award for Safety Representative of the Year at the first UK Oil and Gas Industry Safety Awards. Stuart, who works on BP's Miller platform, has become a leading safety representative taking part in forums, external site audits and promotional activities. His Miller colleagues report that he is highly approachable, knowledgeable and responsive on any safety matter. Well done Stuart!
Contract Award
IES are delighted to announce the award of a major contract with Shell U.K. Ltd for the provision of HVAC, Refrigeration & Environmental services to Shell's Central and Northern North Sea Offshore Platforms and Operated Onshore Plants for a period of 5 years. Steve Nickerson, Business Development Manager said, "This contract win is testament to the extremely high level of service we provide and recognition of our place as the leading provider of HVAC and Refrigeration services to the oil & gas industry. Annual Golf Outing
Our annual golf outing was hailed as a great success by all who attended at Deeside Golf Club on 25th June 2009. The overall winner was

Contract Awards
IES are delighted to announce the renewal of a Federal Contract with a major oil & gas operator for the provision of HVAC services to six of their platforms. The contract is for a further 3 years and is estimated to be valued at approximately £6million.
IES have been awarded a contract by Wood Group Engineering (North Sea) Ltd, following a successful tender, to provide HVAC Design Consultancy Support. Jim Grimmer, Business Development Manager commented, "We are delighted with the confidence Wood Group Engineering (North Sea) Ltd has shown in IES and this contract award allows us to provide our Design expertise to a major Engineering Contractor"
Following a competetive tender Aker Kvaerner have awarded IES the contract to provide maintenance services on the AH001 platform operated on behalf of HESS Ltd.
Talisman Energy (UK) Ltd have awarded IES a contract for ad hoc remedial work on their assets within the FCA (Flotta Catchment Area) and MNS (Mid North Sea) a total of eleven Assets. Jim Grimmer, Business Development Manager said, "This is a major contract win and recognition of the excellent calibre of staff and services we can provide. I have no doubt in our ability to exceed the requirements of this particular contract and to continue to develop IES as the company to provide HVAC & Refrigeration services to the oil & gas industry."
Lomond House Headquarters
The major redevelopment of Lomond House is now complete with the original building doubling in size. Jim Dunlevy, Financial Director commented "This major expansion is in keeping with the projected development of the Company which will provide the required additional space and an improved working environment for our staff who are core to our business."
